Cloud Managed Backup & Recovery Services

Mirrored Storage is responsible for the analysis, set-up configuration and monitoring of the backup of your desire machines.  All software, services and management is included.  The initial load is also provided based on the volume of data moved or replicated to the Managed Backup.

    Analysis

    Mirrored Storage will complete an analysis of the machines you want protected and replicated gathering all the information needed for the implementation and replication.

    Planning & Implementation

    After the plan is completed and verified by you -- Mirrored Storage will lead planning to efficiently and effectively implement the backup and replication to minimize effects on the systems and users.  Since restarting the servers is required after the installation of the software, Mirrored Storage will coordinate with the City for “after hours” (or on servers when there is no traffic or usage).  If any of the systems are in a clustered environment Mirrored Storage can manage them also.

    Software Installation & Configuration

    Upon approval of the planned implementation Mirrored Storage will start the installation and configuration of first the Core and Repository followed by the agents on all the machines to protect.  This will also include setting up and testing reporting, alerting and replication to our offsite data center.

Daily Monitoring & Support

    Mirrored Storage will monitor the Core remotely daily and check the system.  If there are any issues Mirrored Storage will address immediately and report to you what we have done or plan to do.  If automated alerts are received from the Core we will also address those immediately.  The most common issues are around space with the protected machine or repository.  If they require additional space to be allocated on the protected machines Mirrored Storage will notify you or your representative immediately with our finding and recommendation.  The decision will be the Cities.

    Support

    Mirrored Storage offers 24x7x365 support for our customer on any and all recovery requirements.

Ongoing Management
    • Alerting – This is done through email.  Mirrored Storage will set-up dedicated email addresses for your account on our side so that we immediately are notified of any issues.  We will utilize our email system through port 26 and manage that for you.
    • Reporting – in the current version are online only at the time.  Our manufacturer is actively working on re-adding the scheduled reporting feature back into the product.  Then that is release Mirrored Storage will implement it only after testing ourselves.
    • Support (software upgrades & changes …) – Mirrored Storage receives automated notifications of upgrades or patches by our manufacture.  Mirrored Storage implements those in our test environment first, and then our internal environment after our testing is completed.  Once completed Mirrored Storage follow the recommendation of our manufacture which is usually required for the Core component and optionally the agent, unless there is an agent related issue.
    • Mirrored Storage will also provide support of the software at your and our location.  As an MSP we have 24x7 support and access to level 2 & 3 support and development when we open a ticket. 
    • Disaster Recovery – Mirrored Storage will document and create all media required to recover your protected machines on site, whether physical or virtual.  Mirrored Storage will provide the services to do a local recover in the event of a disaster, disaster test or for testing.  Recover at our site will be done on a virtual environment.  Virtual host will be based on availability and capacity on our systems. 
    Remote Data Replication

    This includes Managed Backup to your Dallas Data Center.  Refer to the pricing and include the desired Storage Appliance, add the number of protected Servers, Workstations and appropriate amount of storage increments.  Pricing is per protected Server and per ten (10) workstations.  Workstations protected locally and not replicated offsite available with no storage charges. Remote Data Replication this included Managed Backup to your Dallas Data Center.  Refer to the pricing for the appropriate amount of storage (500gb increments). 

    Disaster Recovery In-A-Box

    This is an add-on to the Storage Device and Managed Backup offering.  With this piece added you could recover your protected servers and/or workstations to the Storage device and run them there until your affected servers and/or workstation are available again. Included items are:

    • Solid State Disk (SSD)
    • Virtual Operating System
    • Windows Server 2012 Operating System
    Warranty

    Mirrored Storage offers recovery locally of files and folders, protected servers and workstations at NO CHARGE for up to 2 hours of remote work.  Recovery beyond 2 hours Mirrored Storage may charge, at our discretion the hourly rate for Managed Services Remote or Local, whichever applies.  We also offer remote recovery where we run your servers and/workstations for a reasonable daily fee.
